The second shop I went to initially said they'd be able to fix my car. Unfortunately, they called me later today and said it would be too hard to find parts and also too expensive for the value of the car. I'm running out of options and patience. If I can't find a shop to repair my car, I'll need to use my tax refund to put a down payment on a new or used car.

I rented a car today after bringing my car to the shop. I need to return the rental next Wednesday.
