Next year's Halloween cruise is definitely out, barring a miracle financial boost. I figured the cruise, airfare and fursuit would set me back at least $3,400. This would require me to save $425 per month for 8 months. Only saving $1,500-2,000 for a fursuit will be much easier for me, plus I can work on losing weight so the designer won't have to use as much fabric.
