Action. Oh, BOY, was there action!
Sep. 16th, 2007 09:28 pmI'm glad I took a Xanax before arriving at the movie extra audition. There were dozens of kids there (1 for every 3 or 4 adults.) Most of them behaved themselves, but a few would have sent me through the roof if I were unmedicated.
I arrived at the audition around 3:00 and stood in line outside, where it rained off and on for about 2-1/2 hours. Here is part of the information sheet I had to fill out:

As many of you may know, my athletic ability is near zero, so I don't ice skate, play basketball or skateboard. Thankfully, the people running the audition said that wouldn't be required of all extras. I should be contacted in a week or two to hear if I've been selected.
The moral of this story is: Arrive early on the first day of an audition. The line won't be as big, and neither will the number of kids.
