Doorbell broken, please knock
Dec. 22nd, 2007 05:29 amI had to turn off the TV news in my office Friday because all the violent stories were giving me panic attacks. When I let the attacks go on, they sometimes devolve into seizures.
I discovered this week that my condo's doorbell is broken. I saw that two of the wires were disconnected. When I tried to connect them the first time, the bell began ringing repeatedly, followed by a loud electronic buzz. Figuring I had the wires backwards, I tried connecting them the other way, but I got the same result. My dad told me he'd stop by later next week to have a look at it.
I may need to move my bed to the opposite wall in my room. While I was asleep, I was awakened by something that sounded like knocking or banging. I don't know if I was hearing random noise in the area or if the neighbor on the other side of my bedroom was disturbed by my snoring.
