2...1...vacation!

The forecast was right after all. It snowed just a little overnight. None of it stuck to the roads, but there was a light coating on my car. It's slowly starting to creep above freezing now.

I'll start packing for the cruise later today, then join the final cruise chat at 6 p.m.

I still haven't bought an iron or ironing board. I've been putting my clothes through the dryer cycle twice as an alternative, and I recently bought some Downy Wrinkle Release.

My toilet began running constantly and failing to flush earlier today. I don't know how this happened, but while I was researching how to fix it, the toilet managed to fix itself.

I just got back from getting a haircut. I thought my hair would be fine for the trip, but I noticed some tangles and bits of frizz this morning.

Cruise chat time!

Found 'em!

During the cruise chat, I began looking around for my name necklace and clip-on bow tie. The tie that came with my new tuxedo doesn't fit around my neck. I looked all over (including inside a couple of boxes I still haven't unpacked since moving here 10 months ago.) I finally located another regular bow tie that fits, even though it's a bit lighter in color. The name necklace was in a bag with some other clothes in my closet. During the search, I also unearthed my camera card-to-CD writer. I may take that if there isn't room in my suitcase for my laptop.
