Another attempt to get my head in order
Oct. 22nd, 2009 04:19 pmMy first visit with the new psychologist went well. It was basically a get-to-know-you session where I gave a quick recap of my family and personal life. I was given a list of statements to which I gave true/false answers (on subjects like stress, family life, sex, etc.) I inadvertently answered "false" to the statement "I tend to brood often" because I thought brood was the same as brag. Others obviously had the same trouble since the word was circled in the booklet. It mainly means to breed, but the definition which applied in this case was: (a) to dwell gloomily on a subject (b) to be in a state of depression. In my case, I should have answered "true" for this.
