Movin' on up?
Mar. 6th, 2011 02:14 amI'm glad I've got a psychiatrist's appointment in a few days. These past few days have been very emotional for me. I've been having brief but frequent bouts of sadness.
I need to call KBIQ on Monday to schedule an interview for the board operator job I applied for. I also need to call USAA to see if the person who crashed into my car last October is any closer to paying for the damages. I hope she's not in the same financial boat I'm in (a leaky one.)
I can't fall asleep. I'm worried not only about my finances but also about my health. I don't currently have health insurance, just a health discount plan which I mainly use for my medications and psychiatrist visits (The plan pays for half of each session's cost.) Even though I'm losing weight and eating healthier, I worry about how I'm going to pay for a medical emergency should one happen. I've actually had a few nightmares about dying, which have also kept me awake and made me sad at times.
One of my former Business Talk Radio co-workers called me at KRCC today to see how I was doing. He said he's trying to find a job but can't find anything. It sucks that some of our elected officials care more about serving themselves and their rich friends than the rest of us who also pay their salaries. As one person said when I contacted him for a political survey, "Nuke 'em all, start over."
