I took pledges from 6-11 AM today. The annual "Chili Challenge" was held from 8-9. Chili the golden retriever therapy dog was in the building, along with Marvin the border collie and a volunteer's German shepherd, Ziba. Someone brought a dog poop-themed cake and cupcakes for the staff and volunteers. KRCC has raised more than 75% of its money goal for this fund drive.
My federal tax refund will be deposited into my account on Friday. It will be nice to knock out a portion of my debt and (hopefully) keep whittling away at it.
