I bought a new hair dryer, but I decided to give the old one another try. It didn't work when I first tried it, but it sprang back to life when I pressed the "reset" button on the plug. I'll keep the new one for travel purposes (since it's a travel-sized dryer) or in case the old dryer really does stop working. I also bought a small comforter for the times when I nap on the couch.

As much as I dread doing this, I'll go ahead and vacuum the carpet in a few minutes.
