I haven't been able to save enough to order a fursuit, though it might help if I wasn't paying off my debts and I didn't go on a cruise every October. One of my co-workers told me about a mascot gig he had to do for a local Christian radio station where he also works, and how he didn't like being barefoot in the mascot costume. Out of the blue, I offered to do the gig for him if the costume was big enough (I'm still struggling with my weight.) The co-worker said he'd check on the costume size and call me. He said the mascot would be out for 20 minutes at a time, then take a break in a van for 15-20 minutes. The mascot, Marty the Moose, was originally used by country station KKCS before the new management screwed up the station and it went belly-up.
