I wound up taking an extra dose of my anxiety/depression medication tonight to try and snap me out of this funk I'm in. I've been unemployed since October, and so far, none of the places where I've applied for a job have hired me. The money from the severance package I received will likely run out in a month or two. I'm gradually taking money from the debit card (containing my unemployment pay) and transferring it into my checking account to keep it alive.

I know the economy is in the toilet, but there has to be some company out there that can use my skills.
