Things went slightly better at improv rehearsal Tuesday. The group had last week off, so I studied improv shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway? and the new ASSSSCAT show on Bravo. Our director had a few ideas for the show like a "radio" format, where the cast sits in the dark and acts out a scene like an old-fashioned radio drama.
Speaking of improv, I bought a ticket to the Drew Carey's Improv All-Stars show next month in Denver. I also read that Drew's Green Screen show is returning to TV on Comedy Central. I loved the few episodes that ran on The WB, so I'm excited about seeing it again.
Last night, I woke up an hour early and couldn't fall asleep again. I went ahead and pulled a few news stories from the web so I could get my Denver reports done a bit quicker. That worked, but I was unable to get the website for The Gazette (the Colorado Springs paper) to come up, so I wound up doing much fewer stories for Colorado Springs than I normally do.
