Boring meeting or unmelted ice cream

I originally planned to attend tonight's Primerica meeting after dinner, but I forgot my shopping list for this week included a container of ice cream. There's no way I wanted that sitting in my car defrosting for over two hours. My brain was also involved in an internal fight between its "never give up" and "what's the use" sides.
