Still hope, but not as much
Jul. 9th, 2009 05:09 pmA staff member from the call center where I applied called me today to schedule an appointment. My chances of getting hired there aren't quite as good as I'd hoped. The staff member said the company needed people who could work weekends, but I already work at KRCC on the weekends. I'm hoping some sort of deal can be worked out with the call center where I either don't have to do weekends or I can work during the time I'm not at KRCC.
EDIT: The call center does have some full-time openings, and I was informed $9/hour was only the starting pay. Those who excel at sales could earn as much as $21/hour. That's over $43,000 per year! I really want the company to find a way to accommodate me. They're hiring 600 people. I'm sure they don't all need to be working at the same time.
