I called a company this morning to cancel an online service that I hadn't used in over a year. Even though I said I wanted to cancel the service twice, the operator kept saying "we'll send you blah-blah-blah and we'll keep your account active." After the second time, I asked to speak to a supervisor, and the operator immediately said she would cancel the account, refund the unused portion of my membership fee and gave me a confirmation number.
I forgot that two weekly/bi-weekly fur meets in Denver are no longer being held. The only ones I see listed are in Boulder, Firestone and Fort Collins. I can't attend the Boulder one since it happens while I'm at work. I was going to attend the Fort Collins meet tonight, but I have to fill in for the Saturday morning announcer at KRCC. I may try that one next week.
