Furry Fiesta: The Lost (Forever) Episodes

jcollie719Saturday night was even better than Friday night. I had planned to go to the first hour of the Super Sponsor dinner then go upstairs at 7:00 for the Matthew Ebel concert. Due to the amount of time it took to get my food in the buffet line and the good time everyone was having, I didn't get upstairs until about 7:20. Luckily (for me) Ebel hadn't started yet due to the last panel running late and some technical problems.
Afterwards, Bucktown Tiger asked if I was coming to Ebel's VIP party. I explained that I wasn't a VIP yet (I will sign up after I return home.) Bucktown asked Matt if I could be invited as a guest since Bucktown's girlfriend didn't want to go. Matt said yes. I was going to include some pictures I took during the party with the other pics/videos I had taken during the first two days. I'll say more about that in a bit.
After lunch on Saturday, I walked to a convenience store south of the hotel to get a snack. I saw various hats in the checkout line, including a Dos Equis hat. Since Bucktown likes Dos Equis, I bought the hat and gave it to him on Sunday morning.
Something happened a bit later which completely soured my mood. My digital camera was suddenly unable to read the SD card inside and reformatted it, erasing all the pictures and videos I had taken up to that point. My spirits were lifted a bit during Bucktown and Matt's "Taking It Pro" panel. For various reasons, my mood was up and down during the remainder of the day. I got a few pictures and videos today, so I have at least a few memories to take home. I'll have to look through other attendees' sites to find the ones I lost.
Next year, I will definitely bring my soon-to-be-repaired laptop or buy a new one, or I will bring my camera card-to-CD writer. This backup laptop runs on Windows CE, which is not compatible with the driver for my digital camera.
