Not quite rejected, not quite hired (yet)
Apr. 26th, 2011 09:03 pmOn Tuesday morning, I called the company hiring dining hall workers for Fort Carson. The person there told me they were hiring people who could work weekend hours first, then weekday workers in a few weeks.
In the meantime, I found another radio opening. This time, K-Lite 106.3 is looking for a co-host. My voice is better suited for a Lite AC station, and having someone else to talk with with greatly help me. I'll drop of a resume tomorrow and let Vocational Rehab know about it so they can (hopefully) help me get hired. I'll also contact KILO again to see if they're still interested.
At least I'm watching Bucktown's Ustream tonight. That's cheered me up.
