I was called at the last minute to fill in for the afternoon board operator for an hour. He told me he'd call by 12:30, but the call came around 12:35. It usually takes me 18-20 minutes to drive to the studio at night since there isn't as much traffic. The increased traffic, and more red lights, added about 6 more minutes. I got into the studio at 1:01. Luckily "A Prairie Home Companion" is just a "press play and leave it" program.
