Sep. 18th, 2006 04:46 amOn Saturday, the signal at KRCC went off for about a minute during the 7:00 hour. The engineer told me there was work being done on the power lines on Cheyenne Mountain (where most of Colorado Springs' FM and TV transmitters are located,) meaning the station's backup transmitter would be running at reduced power on a generator for a few hours. It affected all of the stations on the mountain, but ours was affected more because it only operates at 2,100 watts.
