jcollie719I went to both Borders bookstores in town since they're closing soon and I heard some locations carry Folkmanis puppets. Unfortunately, neither location here had them. Instead, I got a "Loaded Questions" card game since the questions would be great for Table Topics in Toastmasters. I also picked up a new Denver road map since the one I had from 2002 doesn't show the new streets in the Stapleton redevelopment area. (The RMFC hotel is on the west end of that area.)
I finally got LiveJournal to work again after 2-3 days without it. I finally voted in the latest Fursuit Tournament!
I guess the trolls of the world decided to celebrate "gang up on Bucktown night" Tuesday night. During his Ustream, several trolls came into the Ustream chat and did what trolls do. I kicked some of them out (some left on their own) and banned all of them.
I need to contact people at KRCC in the next few days to find a substitute for RMFC weekend. 15 days away!
UPDATE: I typed the above on Wednesday, when LJ was still not allowing me to post. I was feeling depressed for a while because I hadn't heard from the company where I applied for the Fort Carson job. I got a call just before noon today to schedule a third interview for next Monday! It will be great when I can go from being split between hopefulness and stress regarding my unemployment to being happy most of the time.
I'll make sure I get a good night's sleep tonight (Word about the upcoming job interview will make that easier)and maybe an afternoon nap. Tomorrow night, I'll be making the 2.5-hour trek to Fort Collins for the Foxtrot furry meet.
