There's a map in the car for a reason
Sep. 4th, 2011 09:26 pmI got a bit lost driving back from a Saturday night fur meet in Denver. I forgot to fill up my gas tank on the trip up to Denver since I was running a bit late. The almost-empty tank warning light came on after I had driven south of Castle Rock. I got off I-25 at the next exit (Larkspur) and filled up the tank halfway for 26 cents more per gallon than I would have paid in Castle Rock. I didn't see any signs for southbound I-25 as I continued driving south for a few miles. I eventually turned around and headed back north toward where I exited and found a sign for South I-25 (which wasn't posted on the southbound side of the road.)
I forgot to give my dad a food shopping list last Tuesday, so my refrigerator is almost empty. I still have some yogurt, corn, bread and cheese. When I go shopping for a belt tomorrow, I'll pick up a few frozen foods to last me the rest of the week. It sucks when my food supply and money supply are low at the same time. My next payday is this Friday.
