Slouching or shrunk?
Nov. 21st, 2011 08:48 pmI had a physical exam today, the first time in about 15 months and with a new doctor. The first items of business were updating my height and weight. The doctor's scale put my weight at 260 lbs. (fully clothed plus belt, wallet, etc.) compared to 252 undressed on my home scale. I don't know if I wasn't standing up straight when my height was measured or if I've started shrinking due to age, but I was measured at 5'7" when I had been 5'10" for a long time. Everything else was just fine, including heart rate, blood pressure and cholesterol.
After months without it, the doctor wrote me a new Alprazolam prescription.
I led an Overeaters Anonymous meeting for the second week in a row since no one else had signed up.
