Looking ahead to Christmas
Nov. 25th, 2011 12:45 amAt the request of my family, I came up with a few Christmas gift ideas:
-- Sony noise-cancelling headphones or earbuds
-- External speakers for my laptop
-- New alarm clock for bedroom
-- 1 or 2 end tables with drawers for living room
-- Digital watch
The only item I truly need is the alarm clock because some of the time-adjust buttons on my current clock are broken. I tried to limit my list to items that weren't too expensive. The most expensive item is the headphones; most of the listed ones on Nextag cost $50-70. If I do get 2 end tables, I could possibly use one for a bedroom nightstand since my old laundry basket and a bulletin board are currently being used for that purpose.
My Christmas tree is out and decorated. I didn't bother with it last year. I may put up my window lights in the next week or so.
I have at least 2 days of leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner. I made it through without any panic attacks.
91 days until Furry Fiesta (pending a new job, of course.) If the trip is too short-notice for my new boss when I am hired, I could always try for Furry Weekend Atlanta or something later.
