jcollie719I won't be getting the job at Sharp Marketing. The interviewer told me the job's required Saturday hours would interfere with my shift at KRCC.
Several Toastmasters clubs held a contest tonight. I was one of two Table Topics contestants (a third didn't make it.) I came in second place, but I will still need to attend another contest next Saturday in case the first-place finisher can't make it.
Three events over the next nine days will interfere with work and other events I wanted to attend. Next Saturday's Toastmasters contest overlaps with the start of my work shift. This Saturday, I'll be attending my co-worker's band's EP release in Manitou Springs instead of going to the Foxtrot meet in Denver. (To make up for that, I'll go to another Denver meet next Friday. Also, I'll be wearing my panda kigurumi at the co-worker's band's party.) Next Thursday, I'll go to the local paper's "Best Of The Springs" party instead of an improv performance by one of my improv teachers.
