Lucky in parking, unlucky in TV choices

jcollie719KRCC hosted a party for its staff and members yesterday at Jack Quinn's Pub. About 30-40 people showed up. Finding a parking space downtown is almost always difficult. Luckily, a car was backing out of a space right in front of the pub just as I arrived. I had a couple of the pub's creme brulee martinis and the shepherd's pie in a bread bowl.
One of the TV channels I like is no longer available. Laff was previously carried on my cable system via Blue Highways TV. I read the company that owned BHTV went bankrupt. I've contacted the local TV stations in the past about carrying channels like Laff and Antenna TV, but I haven't gotten any response from them. The "diginets" I can receive over the air are Grit, MeTV (shared with MyNetworkTV,) Ion and Cozi TV. I have regularly dreamed about owning a radio or TV station. I think it would actually be cheaper just to buy a house/townhome in the Denver area.
UPDATE: Channel 13 recently added the Heroes & Icons (H&I) channel to a subchannel.
