Pre-"Christmas" warm-up

jcollie719I bought a couple bags of coffee last week: a bag of Dunkin Donuts caramel coffee cake flavor and a bag of Starbucks cinnamon dolce. The cinnamon dolce is very aromatic!
Snow began falling overnight. I woke up a bit earlier and drove to work a bit slower. The roads were mostly snow-packed, but I didn't want to risk crashing. Luckily I have soup at home to warm me up.
KRCC's "Christmas" party is tonight at the Bristol Pub. The pub is inside Bristol Brewing, which is housed in the old Ivywild School. I'll probably have a light snack beforehand, then have an appetizer at the party.I'm torn between the jalapeño wonton poppers and the poutine. I could pick up a few needed groceries at Safeway after the party.
The party was actually held in Ivywild's gym. It served vegetables and a salad to start. The main course was chicken with parmesan cream sauce and pasta.
