Too much of a good thing

Last night, I had my once-every-five-years reminder of why I should pace myself when eating/drinking. I went to Jack Quinn's Pub downtown where The Psychedelegates were performing. I ordered a reuben sandwich and five of the bar's creme brulee martinis along with a brownie sundae dessert. I made sure to drink at least one glass of water for every martini. Amazingly, I didn't feel drunk or even buzzed and was able to safely drive home. Unfortunately, the large amount of alcohol, water and food in my stomach caused me to throw up in the car. I've washed the driver's side floor mat and will bring some Clorox wipes out to the car tomorrow morning to clean off the steering wheel and other surfaces. I will limit myself to three martinis (plus water and food) and use the restroom more frequently from now on.
