Taking it easy... well, easier
Nov. 15th, 2018 03:07 pmSince I wound up spending most of yesterday in Denver doing DoorDash deliveries, I decided to only do two hours of deliveries tonight. I originally signed up for a $15 Drive delivery from Boston Market, but I forgot to confirm it by a certain time (I was still driving up I-25 at the time) so the order was assigned to someone else. Looking at the text messages, the Boston Market asked for the delivery person to wear a DoorDash shirt, which I don't have.
What was supposed to be an 11:30 AM-1:30 PM shift turned into 11:30-3:30, followed by a lunch/early dinner break, then a 4:30-10 PM shift. On the bright side, I exceeded my $200/week goal yesterday. I'll be doing mostly local deliveries the rest of the week to save on gas and (hopefully) get my on-time percentage above 90% again.
