Yes, Virginia, there is a "vegan cheese steak"

I am still waiting for one more tax document to arrive from my SSI. In past years, my final tax document arrived in late-February or early-March. I hope my tax refund can be deposited before Furry Fiesta.

I went to a meetup tonight at a vegan restaurant. I'm still very much a carnivore, but I do like to have meatless meals sometimes for dietary purposes. I ordered the restaurant's chili cheese steak. I'm not sure if the "meat" was tofu and/or corn, but it tasted a bit like a tamale. I also had a chip and vegetable plate with spicy peanut dip, a couple of tequila drinks, and a vegan brownie for dessert. Everything tasted excellent!
