The room block for DenFur 2019 opened for everyone this afternoon. I thought I got a room for the con itself, but I accidentally booked it for this week. I called the hotel directly to get a one King bed room in August for DenFur, then canceled this week's reservation. I need to remember to proofread what I enter online, even when I'm in a hurry for something like this. I caused myself more stress than I needed by not double-checking the dates I entered. I needed to actually make two reservations: one for Thursday-Sunday and one for Sunday-Monday. If the room block is expanded later, I will see if I can consolidate them into a single reservation and/or switch to a double Queen room.
