I went to Kinfolk's bar in Manitou Springs on Saturday. A former co-worker's band, The G-Men, was playing there. I got to the bar at 8 PM since the start time was listed on different sites as 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00. The G-Men actually began at 9:00. I couldn't find a bar menu when I looked at online reviews, but some of the reviews said the bar had food. The only food offered was some bratwurst about an hour before closing. I'll make a mental note to have dinner before any shows at this bar. The G-Men are playing at the Ancient Mariner next weekend. That place actually has a food menu, though it's mostly seafood. If I go to that show, I'll have at least a light meal beforehand.

For St. Patrick's Day, I had dinner with the singles meetup group at OverTime Sports Bar & Grill. The only green item I have to wear is a plastic marijuana leaf necklace I got from a friend a few years ago. As I did on a previous St. Patrick's Day, I ordered the bar's guacamole chicken sandwich and two Adios Mother Fucker drinks. Some of the meetup members ordered baskets of cheese curds and fried zucchini to share.
