I contacted Kaiser Permanente a few hours ago about my health insurance. After explaining I had made payments that were returned and providing more information (and being put on hold a few times,) I was asked to fax one of my account statements to the Proof of Payment department. I'm hoping this will sort things out. If not, I'll have to contact the state health exchange and see if any coverage is available for me outside of the usual enrollment period. I'm just glad I didn't devolve into a screaming mess like I had been predicting.
I think the diagnostic test done at the phone repair store fixed whatever was causing the "moisture detected" warnings since my phone doesn't throw a fit with my other chargers anymore.
