Live from Furry Fiesta (almost)

jcollie719My federal tax refund was deposited this weekend! It's nice to have a financial cushion in my accounts.
I went to a meetup for dinner at the ViewHouse restaurant on Sunday. I ordered some bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers and a buffalo chicken sandwich, plus two "Electrified Lemonade" drinks: gin, vodka, rum, blue curaçao and lemonade.
I had a bit of trouble getting connected to Boomer's server when I got home. I thought all of the settings had stayed the same, but JaSonic let me know one setting was off. At least I know which settings to double-check if I need to fill in next week. I don't have any other events planned for that day, so I won't be rushing around like a chicken with its head cut off beforehand.
Texas Furry Fiesta announced that next year's convention will move to the Sheraton in downtown Dallas. That's about a mile northeast of 2020's location at the Hyatt Regency. It's amazing how the convention grew from 780 attendees when I first went in 2010, to almost 5,300 in 2020.
