Returning to closer-to-normal

 I usually change my smoke detector's batteries in mid-April and mid-October. My smoke detector has a talking alarm, so I didn't want to be awakened in the middle of the night by a robotic voice saying "Low battery."

I completed my playlist for my music show on the 25th. I replaced the first set with songs from musicians who recently died.

I registered for DenFur this afternoon. Just 119 days away!

A check for my state tax refund arrived yesterday. I got a whopping $57.
