During last week's Rabbit Hole, Ricochet said he hated having to sing the Doobie Brothers' "Listen To The Music" in choir. Looking back on my elementary school years, I wish I had the opportunity to sing more post-1960 songs. I think the most recent song I got to sing was "I Feel Love" from 1974 (Benji's theme.) Most of my time in choir consisted of singing the usual patriotic songs, songs from early musicals, and "whitened-up" folk and minstrel songs (because if kids sing "mommy" instead of "mammy," it's automatically not racist! [sarcasm])
Speaking of Ricochet, I saw a license plate with "BIH" as the first three letters. (Bih!)
