I think I've opened a Pandora's box. One of the people I lent money to has asked me for more money so he could admit his mother to the hospital. Last night, I told him my bank's computers were down, so I was unable to withdraw the money. (Thankfully he didn't ask for a check!) If I gave him the money, I'd only have about $20 left in my account, and my next payday is a week away. I don't know if my latest PayPal withdrawal will be deposited today or Monday. You know the economy is bad when someone with my low account balance is considered rich.

EDIT (1/13/09): This was actually "hney" asking for money. I called her a "him" because I was embarassed back then about being suckered by a woman.
