Mar. 22nd, 2007 12:01 amWhile trying to remember my favorite Larry "Bud" Melman (R.I.P.) moments, another person reminded me of a hilarious bit. Larry was supposed to read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" to a group of kids while dressed as Santa Claus. The crew apparently thought Larry knew the poem, so they didn't bother writing it on cue cards. Larry was given a prop book (written in Spanish) to pretend to read from:
"'Twas the Night Before Christmas/Not a creature was stirring/Not even a mouse. ... Now I gotta read Spanish. (Tries to read the Spanish in the prop book, then laughs.)"
Financially, I'm back on semi-stable footing. My dad really helped me out with a couple of my bills.
