My family usually begins Christmas at 11 AM, but this year they started at 9:30. I managed to remain calm all morning, mainly due to eating an edible beforehand. I got two shirts and some new pants, plus a throw blanket, some gift cards and a handheld vacuum. I went out for dinner later and had trouble picking what I wanted because the menu had lots of great options. I got a large southwest salad with grilled chicken.

My niece is about five weeks away from giving birth to a grand-niece.
