A cruise in my future?

jcollie719I've been considering going on a singles cruise next year. I could use a vacation, and I figure going somewhere warm for a week will be a remedy for the "winter depression" I sometimes experience. I found one cruise that departs from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on my birthday in January and another that departs from Puerto Rico in March. Both are Caribbean cruises, and I'm worried another storm like Hurricane Katrina or Rita will hit the area. Also, the combined cost of the cruise and airfare is a bit high for me. (I haven't looked on any discount sites yet.)
I still haven't received a CD I won in an eBay auction in late-July. I e-mailed the seller last week asking about it and received no response, so I filed a claim with eBay. If I don't receive the CD or a response from the seller by next Friday, I'll put a stop payment on the check I sent. This is one of the rare times -- probably the last time -- I've bought from someone who doesn't use PayPal.
