May. 23rd, 2009 12:09 pmI'm home for a few hours. I head back to KRCC at 2:00 to cover Ron's shift, then I'm working a double shift tomorrow.
The only Thursday flight from Colorado Springs to Las Vegas offered by Allegiant Air doesn't arrive in Vegas until 10:40 PM. I'd like to arrive earlier, so I'm considering a one-way flight on another airline. It would stop in Denver and be only $50-80 more, then I could take Allegiant's 5:30 PM Sunday flight home. Even though this isn't a cruise, I've put the "cruise planning" tag on this message since it's a cruisers' reunion.
Earlier this week, a few wasps had flown into my condo. The first one flew over to a window for a bit, then flew into one of the socket holders of my chandelier. It crawled around in there for a few hours before finally dying. Two days later, a couple more wasps flew in. They appeared to come in through the chimney (I hadn't opened my front door yet.) This time, I worked up the nerve to go after them and swat them. I was concerned about more wasps and/or a possible nest in the chimney because I hadn't used the fireplace since moving in a year and a half ago. I used it for the first time Wednesday, hopefully smoking out any remaining wasps.
I wasn't sure how to spell his name before, but the Brazilian musician I listed under "current song" two days ago is Airto (eye-AIR-toe.)
