jcollie719Thursday night's performance by Melting Temple and Number Station was awesome. They played at Illegal Pete's near DU in southern Denver. Illegal Pete's is a Mexican restaurant/bar with five locations in Denver and Boulder. The booth where I sat during Melting Temple's set was actually right behind the drummer. Jacob (the bass player and a co-worker at KRCC) said Melting Temple is releasing an EP soon. The band has a Reverb Nation page at http://www.reverbnation.com/meltingtemple
I got some extra exercise this afternoon. This week's Toastmasters meeting was held in a different building at UCCS. I originally planned to take a shorter walking route to the building, but that sidewalk was blocked for leaf and tree limb removal. The meeting will move back to Dwire Hall next week.
