New tires, old worries

jcollie719I had the front tires on my car replaced Tuesday. I noticed they were low on air a few weeks ago, so I used my dad's air pump to refill them. Last week, they were back to being low. I was hoping they just needed to be repaired. Unfortunately, the mechanics found a nail in one tire which punctured the sidewall. The other tire was damaged because I drove on it while it was flat. I wanted to just buy one tire to go with the one in the trunk, but the store didn't have one that matched.
KRCC put its membership drive on hold this week due to the Waldo Canyon Fire. I am worried about it spreading further into Colorado Springs since the estimated containment date is July 16th. Also, I don't know if the Vocational Rehab office is open since it's either in or near the mandatory fire evacuation zone.
