I got a few extra hours of work this weekend. The Nevada caucus happened on Saturday, so NPR had live commentary during the caucus.
The local singles group had a Margarita Day meetup at Chili's after my shift. I had the Awesome Blossom petals appetizer. I guess Chili's doesn't give you a whole "blossom" anymore. About 2/3 of the petals I got were burnt, and the ranch dipping sauce was definitely inferior to the Big Mac-like sauce that used to go with it. I also had some chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and two of the "Hearts of Fire" margaritas.
I saw the funk band Illegal Cheese at the Hype Bar on Friday night. This is the former Red Bar, where I first saw the band. Since I had dinner earlier that night, I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, plus a few Jack-and-Cokes.
More snow fell on Sunday. The NPR feed was clear, but I swept the snow out of the satellite dish just to keep the feed clear during the afternoon. I did a few GrubHub deliveries in the afternoon to give me more money for the Furry Fiesta trip.
