I filled out my mail ballot today. I will drop it off at the library drop box on the way to a support group meeting tonight.

The Dutch bakery where I usually order my Thanksgiving rolls doesn't have their butterflake rolls listed on their website yet. I'll call the bakery tomorrow to see when the rolls will be available.

Avian Invasion's stream today is happening in a VR world.

I'm glad the catering order I just delivered included a big tip. Usually Chipotle is good about getting orders ready on time. This location was really busy for lunchtime, so my order wasn't finished until about 8 minutes after the pick-up time. I didn't get the $2 on-time bonus, but the order itself paid over $50 including the tip. I picked up a Whopper meal at Burger King for lunch afterward, then dropped off my election ballot at one of the city's drop boxes.

The singles cruise group I belong to is hosting an online Halloween weekend party on Zoom. I don't usually get Trick-or-Treaters at my condo; I've only gotten a total of one in the 13 years I've lived here. I may put together a few small bags of candies just in case I get one or two visitors this year.

I hope I can pick up some more distilled water in a few days. I only have enough for another 2-3 days, and I didn't find any during my last shopping trip. My car is due for another oil change since the Furry Fiesta trip and food deliveries in Colorado quickly put another 3,000+ miles on my odometer.

Since the coronavirus has many businesses closed and/or working from home, there haven't been any DoorDash catering orders to deliver. This and the latest election results have me feeling depressed. I hoped delivery demand would increase with the quarantine, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I filled out my mail-in ballot for the local April election. A local senior center offers a ballot drop-off location, so I'll go there before a meeting tonight.

A local musician invited me to a performance which starts after my meeting. "Thegoodmorningaccordionterrorist" will be playing at the Triple Nickel downtown, along with a Texas accordion-based punk rock band called "Piñata Protest." (This bar does have a good food selection.) UPDATE (7:15 PM): They don't serve food anymore, and the taco place next door closed at 7:00.

  • 21:46 The weather will be SWEET the next few days. No snow expected until Friday. I'm sure we'll still get snow into May, though. #

RE:  The last "tweet."  I recently canceled my newspaper subscription both due to my unemployment and dissatisfaction with the paper's customer service (I was treated rudely on more than one occasion.)  I received an e-mail two days ago asking me to re-subscribe and offering a discount rate "just in time for the holidays."  What holidays?  Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day?  You had your chance to keep me as a customer and you threw it away.

I wasn't sure if this picture had been published nationwide and/or worldwide, but it was in a local weekly paper following the election:
