I managed to go two days this past week without drinking soda. Of course, that's because I drank it all during the beginning of the week. I am trying to cut down since my weight loss has reached a plateau (stuck between 252 and 255.)

 

My Toastmasters group isn't meeting for a couple of weeks. This Friday was due to two members graduating from college, and next Friday is the weekend before Memorial Day. Last night after dinner, I went to the Black Sheep club to watch my co-worker's band. They and another band opened for the New York-based group Eve To Adam.

The big-calorie day was last Sunday due to a large lunch followed by all the food I had at Gerlypalooza. I only ate when I felt hungry, but what I ate had more calories than I expected.

I was hoping there would be some snacks at the station that were left over from the membership drive meeting I missed. No such luck. I did find a bag of granola, though.

 

I was able to get a full tank of gas for about $10 less than usual thanks to my Safeway card. I had earned enough credits to get 40 cents off per gallon, so I paid $2.59 per gallon instead of $2.99.

A local plumbing/heating company gave my furnace its annual checkup. It's still in great condition. I asked the technician to look at my toilet since the tank no longer fills (and therefore can't flush.) He told me the flapper valve is broken. As the picture shows, the toilet tank is right underneath a shelf, and my arm is too thick to fit in order to fix it. I've used the toilet a few times since then, so for once I'm glad I don't get any visitors.
